2002 Perodua Kelisa GXi Hatchback with 1 year's MOT

On offer for reluctant sale, is a 2002 (51 Reg) Perodua Kelisa GXi. For those who don't know the "Perodua" brand, it is a Malaysian copy of the Japanese "Daihatsu Cuore" and many parts are interchangeable between the two cars. This is a 989cc, 5 speed car which is very reliable, surprisingly nippy for such a small engine, and (not surprisingly) extremely economical. It is also very cheap to insure, and the Road tax is quite reasonable too... Latest Road Tax Reminder quotes £60.50 for six months, or £110 for 12 months. (Tax expires on 31st Aug 2014). Mechanically the car is in very good condition... It has only done 62,300 miles, and passed MOT on 13th August 2014 with no "advisories" (see photo of certificate). MOT expires 12th Aug 2015. Cosmetically, the car is in Good/Fair condition... It does have a number of small/minor bumps and scrapes here & there, as can be seen in the photos. This car would be ideal for a learner (or new) driver, because... They would not be too concerned about adding to the scrapes already there... As mentioned, it's cheap to insure... And it's very easy to drive, being a very small & nippy car, with light clutch, and power steering. (Also has power windows in front) Have seen these cars still selling 2nd hand for £2,000.00 (in better cosmetic condition), so advertised price for this car takes into account the cosmetic condition, Road tax expiring end of this month, and lack of service history. All in all, it's a good little car, at a reasonable price, with a full year's MOT. It will be supplied with 3 keys and 2 remote controls for the central locking. The only reason for selling is that my wife has started working as a dog walker, and needed a larger car for carrying dogs... The Perodua is great for nipping through tight gaps in traffic, and parking in small spaces, but does not have loads of interior room for dogs! We have been so happy with the Perodua, that we have bought a Daihatsu Sirion to replace it... Same engine, but larger car! This car is an ideal alternative to the Nissan Micra, Ford Fiesta, Vauxhall Corsa, Peugeot 106, Renault Clio, Toyota Starlet, VW Polo, etc.
